Does a team need to race the whole time?
no, you may be off course once you complete a full lap at any time during the race event.
How do we change riders?
the rider on course approaches the "transistion area" another team member is already in place in the "transistion area". once the current rider on course crosses the lap line the next team member may start their lap or laps.
Do you need to switch team members after each lap?
no, you may have team members ride multiple laps.
Who wins?
the team with the most laps wins. you may enter a new lap as long as the time has not run out, teams on the course when the time ends must finish that lap for it to count towards their total. You (solo) or your team must race at least the time length of the event. See example below.
12 hour event ending at 10pm July 30th. The team rider representing the team must cross the finish/lap line after 10:00pm, crossing the finish line at 9:59:59 would mean you/they did not complete the 12 hour race and to be counted as completing the event you/they would need to do an additional lap.
please be very clear on this finishing rule. any questions get them cleared up before you start the event.

(example: one tent, one car, one rv, one car, two rv's, two cars.) extra vehicles will need to be parked in the main parking area in front of the chalet. then onto the road as things fill up. $10.00 per site covers both nights and helps us defer the toilet and garbage expenses.
What about these wrist bands?
We will be handing out tyvex wrist bands to all paid racers this year. Here's why. We really enjoy having spectators and support staff at our event, that said the bulk of the efforts are for the paid racer and therefore we want them to have the benefits. So, wear your wrist band for access to the race recovery tent with water, snacks, fruit throughout the event. The 12 hour Pizza/beer/soda/water celebration following the conclusion of the 12 hour event from 10:30pm-midnight.
